It was the aim of melanomaWA from the beginning that a support group would be created to provide melanoma patients and their families a place to come together and network. This group has continued to grow and is facilitated by metastatic melanoma survivors Mr Ross Taylor and Mr Clinton Heal, and Nurse Co-ordinator Mrs Julie Teraci.

The melanomaWA support group held its first meeting on Thursday 9th October 2008, and meets monthly with the next meeting to be held on Thursday the 2nd of September from 7-9pm at Crawford Lodge, on Monash Ave, Nedlands. We also run a small meditation session from 6pm prior to the meeting.

We are committed to building a group as people who have all been touched by melanoma in some way. It is our vision that will be able to positively assist others, while still respecting their own beliefs and values.
