2013 Perth March for Melanoma
Approx. 1200 people registered and took part in the 2013 Perth March for Melanoma, which was hailed a resounding success by the organising committee and the community who came along. As a part of the day, a balloon ceremony (see above) was held for those living with Melanoma, and those who have passed in a commemorative display of unity. Also the Scott Kirkbride Melanoma Research Centre teamed up with melanomaWA to provide an awareness and education area, and the Lions Cancer Institute provided on site skin screening.
